CNY Turnip Cake Distribution
新春蘿蔔糕派發
During Lunar New Year, our volunteers hand-delivered traditional turnip cakes to elderly and low-income residents in Choi Wan Estate. A small act of care, carried out with warmth, to spread festive joy to those who need it most.
農曆新年期間，義工們親 手將傳統蘿蔔糕送到彩雲邨的長者及基層居民手中。一份小小的心意，滿載溫情，將節日喜悅帶給最需要關懷的人。
Tai Po Emergency Fire Victims Relief
大埔宏福苑火災緊急援助
Working alongside Li Ka Shing Foundation, we responded swiftly to a fire at Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po. Relief packages and financial assistance were distributed directly to affected families and domestic helpers, helping them take their first steps toward recovery.
聯同李家誠基金迅速回應大埔宏福苑火災，為受影響的居民及外傭送上緊急援助物資及經濟支援，協助受災家庭踏出復原的第一步。
Ocean Park Family Day
海洋公園家庭日
We took children from low-income families to Ocean Park for a full day of adventure. For many of them, it was their first time. Watching their faces light up is exactly why we do what we do.
我們帶領基層家庭的孩子們到海洋公園度過充實的一天。對不少孩子而言，這是人生第一次。看見他們雀躍的笑臉，正是我們一切付出的意義所在。

Mid-Autumn Mooncake Sharing 2025
中秋月餅分享 2025
To mark the Mid-Autumn Festival, our volunteers visited underprivileged families and elderly residents across the community, delivering mooncakes and warm greetings. A simple gesture to remind those often forgotten that they are not alone.
中秋佳節，義工們走訪社區內的基層家庭及長者，送上月餅與節日問候。一個簡單的舉動，讓那些常被遺忘的人感受到——他們並不孤單。
Movie Day - Elio
電影日 - 外星奇遇記
We brought a group of children together for a fun movie afternoon. Volunteers joined as companions, sharing laughter and creating happy memories with kids who rarely get the chance to enjoy such outings.
我們帶領一群小朋友共度愉快的電影下午。義工們陪伴左右，與平日甚少機會外出的孩子們一同歡笑，留下美好回憶。

Five years and still going. What started as one afternoon of joy has grown into an annual tradition that children, families, and volunteers look forward to together. This Christmas, we celebrated not just the season — but five years of community built one party at a time.
五年了，仍在繼續。從一個歡樂的下午，成長為孩子、家庭與義工共同期待的年度傳統。今個聖誕，我們慶祝的不只是節日——更是五年來，一個派對一個派對所建立起的社區情誼。
Food Waste Reduction Education
減少廚餘教育
We introduced the community to an innovative solution for food waste: black soldier fly composting. Through workshops and live demonstrations, participants learned how these insects break down organic waste efficiently, turning food scraps into valuable compost and reducing landfill pressure.
我們向社區介紹一種創新的廚餘處理方案——黑水虻堆肥。透過工作坊及現場示範，參加者了解到黑水虻如何高效分解有機廚餘，將廢料轉化為有用堆肥，從而減輕堆填壓力。
Green @ Community Recycling Education

We brought recycling education to schools and community centres, teaching children and residents how to sort waste correctly and why it matters. Small habits, practised early, make a lasting difference to our environment.

Farm Work Experience & Job Opportunities
農場工作體驗及就業機會
We partnered with local farms to offer hands-on work experience for youth and adults seeking employment. Participants learned practical farming skills, explored potential career pathways, and gained confidence through meaningful work in the field.
我們與本地農場合作，為有意就業的青年及成人提供實地農場工作體驗。參加者學習實用農耕技能，探索潛在就業出路，並在實際工作中建立自信。

Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for reunion — but not everyone has someone to celebrate with. In 2024, we distributed mooncakes to elderly residents and low-income families across the community, making sure that everyone had something sweet to mark the occasion. A mooncake is a small thing. The gesture behind it is not.
中秋節是團圓的時節——但並非每個人都有人陪伴慶祝。2024年，我們向社區內的長者及基層家庭派發月餅，確保大家都能以一份甜蜜迎接佳節。月餅或許微小，但背後的心意，從不輕薄。

Four years of Christmas, four years of showing up. The party grows a little bigger each year, and so does the sense of belonging. This year we went to the children's favourite Korean restaurant. For the children who join us, this is not just a party — it is proof that they are part of something.
四年的聖誕節，四年的堅持出現。派對每年都大一點，歸屬感也隨之加深。我們帶領小朋友到他們最喜愛的韓國餐廳享用午餐。對參與的小朋友而言，這不只是一個派對——而是一份證明，證明他們是這個大家庭的一份子。
Yoga & Mindfulness for Mental Health 瑜伽及正念——關注精神健康
We hosted yoga and mindfulness sessions to raise awareness of mental health in the community. Participants were guided through breathing exercises, gentle movement, and mindfulness practices — accessible tools for managing stress and improving wellbeing, regardless of age or background.
我們舉辦瑜伽及正念工作坊，藉此在社區推廣精神健康意識。導師帶領參加者進行呼吸練習、舒緩動作及正念訓練，讓不同年齡及背景的人士均能掌握簡單易用的減壓及身心健康方法。
Healthy Eating Education

We ran interactive sessions on healthy eating habits for children and families, covering nutrition basics, affordable meal ideas, and the importance of a balanced diet. Good health starts with good knowledge.
為兒童及家長舉辦互動健康飲食工作坊，內容涵蓋基本營養知識、經濟實惠的餐單建議，以及均衡飲食的重要性。健康，從認識開始。
Recycling Workshop (18 sessions)

With Hong Kong's Municipal Solid Waste charging scheme (MSW 325) on the horizon, understanding how to reduce, sort, and recycle is no longer optional — it is essential. We ran hands-on recycling workshops for children and community residents, covering how to correctly separate waste, what can and cannot be recycled, and practical ways to cut down on daily rubbish. The goal was simple: equip people with the knowledge to adapt before the charges kick in, and build habits that last long after.
隨著香港都市固體廢物收費計劃（MSW 325）即將實施，學懂如何減廢、分類及回收，已不再只是選擇，而是每個家庭的必要準備。我們為兒童及社區居民舉辦實踐性回收工作坊，內容涵蓋如何正確分類廢物、哪些物品可以回收、哪些不能，以及日常生活中減少垃圾的實用方法。目標很簡單：在收費實施前，讓大家掌握應對知識，並培養長遠持續的環保習慣。

Warm Clothing Distribution
禦寒衣物派發
During an exceptionally cold winter, we collected and distributed warm clothing — coats, blankets, and thermal wear — to homeless individuals and low-income families. When temperatures drop, no one should be left out in the cold.
在一個特別寒冷的冬天，我們收集並派發禦寒衣物，包括外套、毛毯及保暖內衣，送給無家者及基層家庭。氣溫驟降，沒有人應該在寒風中瑟縮。
COVID-19 Medical Supplies Handout 新冠疫情醫療物資派發
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we distributed essential medical supplies — including masks, hand sanitisers, and rapid test kits — to vulnerable families and elderly residents who faced difficulties accessing them. No one should face a health crisis alone.
新冠疫情期間，我們向有需要的家庭及長者派發口罩、消毒搓手液及快速測試套裝等基本醫療物資，協助難以自行購置的弱勢社群。面對健康危機，沒有人應該孤立無援。
Community Partnership — Dialogue in the Dark
社區合作夥伴——黑暗中對話
We believe that doing good is better together. Beyond our own programmes, Love On Time has supported fellow NGO partners working to build a more inclusive Hong Kong. Among them is Dialogue in the Dark — a powerful experiential journey that places participants in complete darkness, guided by visually impaired facilitators, to foster empathy, break down barriers, and shift perspectives on disability. By supporting initiatives like these, we extend our reach beyond what we can do alone and stand alongside organisations whose values we share.
我們相信，善事合力做，力量更大。除了自身的活動項目，愛要及時亦積極支持其他致力建設共融香港的非牟利夥伴機構。其中包括「黑暗中對話」——一個深刻的體驗式旅程，讓參加者在視障導師的帶領下，於完全黑暗的環境中行走，藉此培養同理心、打破隔閡，重新理解傷健共融的意義。透過支持這類活動，我們將影響力延伸至自身以外，與志同道合的機構並肩同行。

Our very first Christmas party — a small gathering, but a meaningful one. We brought together children from low-income families for games, gifts, and a taste of festive joy. It was the beginning of something we did not yet know would become a tradition.
我們的第一個聖誕派對——規模不大，但意義深遠。我們邀請基層家庭的小朋友一起玩遊戲、派禮物，感受節日歡樂。那時的我們還不知道，這將會成為一個延續多年的傳統。

Monthly Haircut for Elderly Residents 每月長者義剪
Looking good is feeling good. Each month, we bring volunteer hairdressers to visit elderly residents who have difficulty travelling, offering them a free haircut and a moment of dignity and joy. A simple trim, a warm conversation — it means the world to those who rarely leave home.
儀容整潔，心情自然好。每個月，我們邀請義務髮型師上門探訪行動不便的長者，為他們免費剪髮，送上一份尊嚴與喜悅。簡單的一個髮型、一段溫暖的對話——對那些甚少外出的長者而言，意義深遠。
Monthly Food Handout

Every month, our volunteers take to the streets and estates to hand-deliver food packages to low-income families and elderly residents living alone. It is more than groceries — it is a regular visit, a familiar face, and a reminder that someone cares.
每個月，義工們走進社區，親手將食物包送到基層家庭及獨居長者手中。這不只是食物，更是定期的探訪、熟悉的面孔，以及一份「有人掛念你」的溫情。
